ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of endoscopic sinus surgery on individuals with cystic fibrosis who also suffer from a condition called chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS), which causes ongoing nasal and sinus problems. Researchers will look at how the surgery impacts patients' lung health and overall quality of life compared to those who are treated with medications only. Participants will be monitored to see how well they respond to their chosen treatment.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be between 18 and 99 years old, have a confirmed diagnosis of cystic fibrosis, and have symptoms of chronic rhinosinusitis that haven’t improved with medical treatment. Those who have had sinus surgery in the past year or plan to get follow-up care at a different facility won’t be eligible. If you decide to join, you can expect to provide some information about your health and treatment experiences over time. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so it's a great opportunity for those looking for relief from their symptoms.
