ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two conditions called endometriosis and adenomyosis, which can cause symptoms like pain, heavy bleeding, and difficulty getting pregnant. Researchers want to find out if these conditions get worse over time and how they affect the body. They will also look closely at how the immune system interacts with these conditions and the role of bacteria in the body related to these diseases. The goal is to gather more information that could help improve treatment options for women who suffer from these issues.
To participate in the trial, women must be between 18 and 42 years old and experiencing pelvic pain or infertility, or they must have been diagnosed with a pelvic mass. Participants should also have had a diagnosis confirmed by a medical professional. However, women who are pregnant, have certain infections like HIV or hepatitis, have a cancer diagnosis, or do not want to sign the consent form cannot join the study. Those who qualify will have the opportunity to contribute to important research that may lead to better understanding and care for endometriosis and adenomyosis.
