ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how colorectal cancer affects thinking and memory skills at different stages of the disease. The researchers want to understand how cancer-related thinking problems happen and how patients cope with them. They are also testing whether a special exercise called “dual-task walking” — which involves walking while doing another simple task at the same time — can help improve thinking and memory in people with colorectal cancer.
People who might join this study are adults who have recently been diagnosed with early to mid-stage colorectal cancer (stages I to III) and have not had any other types of cancer or a return of colorectal cancer. Participants will take part in activities to measure their thinking skills and try the dual-task walking exercises to see if it helps. This study is currently looking for volunteers and aims to learn more about how to support brain health during colorectal cancer treatment.
