ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help veterans quit using tobacco, which includes cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, and other forms. Many veterans struggle to quit even though there are effective treatments available. The trial will test a "stepped care" approach, which means that the treatment will be adjusted based on how well each person responds. This might help improve the chances of quitting for a longer time.
To participate in this study, you need to be a daily tobacco user who is willing to try to quit within the next 30 days. You should also be able to provide informed consent, have a stable home, and have access to a phone. Unfortunately, if you have a serious illness or an unstable mental health condition, you may not be eligible. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but if you qualify, you can expect to receive personalized support to help you with your quit attempt.
