ClinConnect Summary
The Indiana University Gastrointestinal Motility Diagnosis Registry is a clinical trial aimed at gathering information about patients with certain digestive disorders, such as Eosinophilic Esophagitis, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). By creating a detailed list of patients with these conditions, doctors hope to better understand these diseases and improve future research in this area. This study is currently looking for participants, and anyone who has been diagnosed with a gastrointestinal motility disorder and has visited the GI clinics or endoscopy centers may be eligible to join.
If you choose to participate, you'll be part of a registry that helps doctors identify and study these conditions more effectively. All ages and genders are welcome, but individuals with other serious medical issues that could affect their ability to participate in research won't be included. This registry is important because it aims to enhance our understanding of digestive disorders, ultimately leading to better treatments and care for patients like you.
