ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at two different surgical methods for treating gum recession, a condition where the gums pull back from the teeth, exposing more of the tooth root. The researchers want to see which method—called the pinhole surgical technique (PST) or the tunnel technique—works better for improving gum coverage and thickness. This study is currently recruiting participants who are aged 18 to 75 and have a specific type of gum recession that is not too severe.

To participate, you need to have at least one healthy tooth with a certain level of gum recession and a good overall health status. Participants can expect to receive one of the two surgical treatments and will be monitored closely to assess the results. It's important to note that those with severe gum issues, infections, or who are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot join the study. This trial aims to help improve treatment options for gum recession, making it an exciting opportunity for eligible individuals.
