This clinical trial, called the Geriatric Oncology Supportive Clinic for Elderly (GOSC), is studying how a special supportive care program can improve the quality of life for older adults who have recently been diagnosed with cancer and are about to start treatment. The program aims to help these patients manage the challenges of cancer treatment, particularly focusing on their overall well-being.

To be eligible for this trial, participants must be 65 years or older, have a new diagnosis of early or locally advanced cancer, and be planning to receive treatment such as high-dose radiotherapy or chemotherapy. However, if someone has already been seen in a Geriatric or Palliative Medicine Clinic in the last six months, they won't be able to join. Those who participate can expect to receive tailored support and care, which may help them have a better experience during their cancer treatment. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it welcomes people of all genders.

• Inclusion Criteria:
• • Age 65 and above
• • Newly diagnosed early or locally advanced cancer
• • Planned for treatment
• • high dose radiotherapy (both curative and palliative) and / or
• • curative chemotherapy
• Exclusion Criteria:
• • Seen in Geriatric or Palliative Medicine Clinic in prior 6 months
