ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of a special type of sealing material called BioRoot ™ RCS cement used in root canal treatments and retreatments, comparing it to a commonly used sealing material known as AH Plus. The goal is to see which material leads to better success in treating problems in teeth that have already undergone root canal therapy. The study will follow patients for up to six years to determine how well each treatment works.

To be eligible for this trial, participants should be adults aged between 18 and 75 who have been diagnosed with certain dental issues like irreversible pulpitis (a severe tooth infection) or have experienced failure in previous root canal treatments. Patients who have serious health conditions, are pregnant, or have specific dental problems like root fractures are not eligible. Those who join will need to understand the study and agree to participate by signing a consent form. Throughout the trial, participants will receive either type of sealing material during their treatment and will be monitored to see how well their tooth heals over time.
