ClinConnect Summary

The "Jump: MR Simulation For Radiation Therapy Master Protocol" clinical trial is studying how effective it is to use magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) when planning radiation treatments for certain types of cancer, including prostate cancer, liver cancer, and head and neck cancer. The goal is to see if incorporating MRI helps doctors better plan radiation therapy, which can improve treatment outcomes for patients.

To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and have a confirmed cancer diagnosis that requires radiation therapy. You should be able to understand the study details and provide written consent. However, if you have a history of allergic reactions to a specific type of MRI contrast dye or cannot undergo an MRI, you may not be eligible. During the trial, participants will undergo MRI scans as part of their treatment planning, and the research team will closely monitor their experience to assess the new approach's feasibility and effectiveness. If you're considering joining the trial, you'll be part of an important effort to improve cancer care through innovative imaging techniques.
