ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at the results of surgeries performed on patients with diseases of the pancreas, liver, and bile ducts. The main goals are to understand how well patients recover after surgery and to see how long they live after being treated for tumors in these areas. Researchers will track complications that may arise after surgery and measure how many patients remain cancer-free over time.
To participate in this study, you need to be someone who has had surgery by the Hepatobiliopancreatic (HPB) Surgical Unit either in the past ten years or recently if you agree to take part. Unfortunately, if you are not eligible for surgery or do not want to join the study, you won’t be able to participate. If you do join, you can expect to help researchers gather important information that can improve future treatments and outcomes for patients with similar conditions. Your involvement could help shape better care for others in the future!
