ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying whether watching a specially designed video on a tablet during an ambulance ride can help patients feel less anxious and more comfortable when they are being treated for a heart attack. The patients involved in this trial are those who are being transferred to the hospital for urgent care after experiencing a type of heart attack known as STEMI.

To be eligible to participate, patients must be conscious and oriented, diagnosed with STEMI, and be receiving help from an advanced life support ambulance. They must also be able to provide consent to join the study. During the trial, one group of patients will watch the video during their ambulance ride, while the other group will receive standard care without the video. Researchers will then assess how the video affects the patients' anxiety levels, pain, comfort, and overall experience during their transfer to the hospital. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to explore new ways to support patients in emergency situations.
