ClinConnect Summary
The Berlin Registry of Right Heart Interventions is a clinical trial that looks at patients who have undergone treatment for valve problems in the right side of the heart, specifically focusing on conditions like tricuspid and pulmonary regurgitation. The study aims to understand how different types of treatments affect patients' health over time. Researchers will follow up with participants by gathering medical histories, conducting lab tests, and performing echocardiograms (a type of ultrasound for the heart) to see how well the treatments are working.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be adults over 18 years old who have recently had or are planning to have valve interventions for right heart issues. Unfortunately, patients who cannot provide consent, are unable to attend follow-up visits, or are confined to an institution cannot take part. If you or a loved one qualify and choose to participate, you can expect to be closely monitored for your progress and health outcomes following your heart treatment, helping to improve care for future patients.
