ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called FAPI-PET for Tumor Detection, is studying a special type of imaging called FAPI-PET, which helps doctors find and assess tumors in patients who have or may have cancer. The trial aims to understand how well this imaging method works compared to other tests, how accurately it identifies tumors, and how it can help doctors make better decisions about patient care. The study is currently looking for participants aged 18 and older who are scheduled to receive FAPI-PET imaging for staging or restaging of their cancer.
If you decide to participate, you will undergo the FAPI-PET scan as part of your routine care. This study is important because it could improve the way tumors are detected and monitored, ultimately helping to tailor treatments for patients. However, please note that individuals who cannot give consent, lie flat, or have certain critical health conditions may not be eligible to join, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women. Your involvement could contribute to valuable research in the fight against cancer.
