ClinConnect Summary
The Prospecive OBSERVational Munich Interventional MITRAl-Valve Registry is a clinical trial aimed at studying how well new treatments for mitral and tricuspid valve problems work in patients. This includes conditions like mitral valve regurgitation (when blood leaks backward through the valve), mitral valve stenosis (when the valve doesn’t open properly), and tricuspid valve regurgitation. If you're over 18 years old and have one of these heart valve issues, and your healthcare team believes that a specific procedure called transcatheter valve therapy is the best option for you, you might be eligible to participate.
As a participant in this study, you would be part of a registry that collects information about your treatment and health over time. This research is taking place at the Deutsches Herzzentrum München in Germany and is currently looking for individuals to join. The goal is to learn more about the effectiveness of these treatments and improve care for future patients. It’s important to know that if you have difficulty understanding or following the study requirements, you may not be eligible to participate.
