ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how patients recover after experiencing fractures in the pelvic area, specifically pelvic ring fractures and acetabular fractures, which are breaks in the part of the hip joint. The goal is to understand how these fractures affect patients’ daily life and overall health, whether they are treated with surgery or without surgery. Researchers want to gather information on how well patients feel they are functioning over time after their injuries.
To participate in this study, you need to be between the ages of 65 and 74 and have a fracture in the pelvic ring or acetabulum. If you agree to participate, you will be asked to share your experiences and how you feel about your recovery during the study. It’s important to note that if you decide not to take part, that’s completely fine as participation is voluntary. This research aims to improve care and support for patients with these types of fractures in the future.
