ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how surgery to remove a type of brain tumor called a meningioma affects thinking and memory in the long term. Specifically, it focuses on meningiomas located in the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. The researchers want to see how patients' cognitive abilities change after their surgery, which might help doctors understand the best ways to support patients as they recover.
If you’re considering participating in this trial, you should be at least 18 years old and scheduled for surgery to remove a meningioma in either the frontal or temporal area of your brain. You’ll need to be able to understand the study details and provide consent to join. Throughout the trial, you can expect to undergo cognitive tests before and after your surgery, and the researchers will keep track of your progress during follow-up visits. This study is currently recruiting participants, so it’s a great opportunity to contribute to our understanding of brain health after surgery.
