ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new online system called ELIOS that aims to help young adults who have thoughts of suicide. The goal is to see if using ELIOS can reduce these harmful thoughts, encourage people to seek help, and make it easier for them to get the care they need. What makes ELIOS special is that it is designed to work with the way young people interact on social media, making it a modern and accessible option for suicide prevention.
To take part, you need to be between about 18 and 31 years old, live in France, speak French, and have had suicidal thoughts within the past week. You also need to reach out to the ELIOS system on your own and agree to participate in the study. The trial does not include minors (people under 18) because of ethical rules about parental permission, but it focuses on young adults up to 31 years old. If you join, you will use the ELIOS system online, which is designed to support you and guide you toward getting help. This study is important because it could show if using social media-based support is a helpful new way to prevent suicide among young people in France and possibly beyond.
