**Clinical Trial Summary: Advanced Techniques for Palliative Radiotherapy**
This clinical trial is exploring whether a single higher dose of radiation treatment can provide longer-lasting relief for patients with advanced cancer, compared to the usual method that involves multiple smaller doses. The goal is to see if patients who receive this single higher dose can go a full year without experiencing a return of their symptoms, such as pain or discomfort.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must have metastatic cancer, meaning the cancer has spread from its original site to other parts of the body, and they should be recommended for the standard treatment of 5 to 10 sessions of radiation. This trial is open to all genders and is currently looking for new participants. If you join, you will receive either the new treatment or the standard one, and your progress will be monitored over the next year to see how well you respond. It’s important to note that patients who are already recommended for a single dose of radiation are not eligible to participate.
