ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how well knee braces help people with knee osteoarthritis, a condition that causes pain and stiffness in the knee. The study will track patients who are prescribed these braces and see how they are doing over time. If you are over 18 years old and have been recommended a knee brace for your knee pain, you may be eligible to participate. However, if you are under 18 or have difficulties understanding the study details, you won’t be able to join.
As a participant, you will be given a special study ID and asked to complete a questionnaire when you first get fitted for your brace. You’ll also fill out follow-up questionnaires at 4 weeks, 6 months, and 1 year after your fitting to help the researchers understand your experience. After the first year, they will check in with you every year until you stop using the brace, have knee surgery, or pass away. This study is currently recruiting participants, so if you think you might be interested, it could be a great way to contribute to understanding the benefits of knee braces for osteoarthritis.
