ClinConnect Summary
The Polish Registry of Diabetes (PolReD) is a clinical trial aimed at understanding diabetes better by creating a detailed registry of patients with diabetes, those at risk of developing it, and healthy individuals. Researchers will collect information about each participant's health, including genetic and biological data. They will then use advanced computer techniques, known as artificial intelligence, to analyze this information. The goal is to develop new care recommendations for people at high risk for diabetes and those already living with the condition.
To participate in this trial, individuals need to meet certain criteria. You may be eligible if you have been diagnosed with diabetes or prediabetes, or if you have normal blood sugar levels. Participants will need to provide their consent to join the study. It's important to note that individuals with severe psychiatric disorders, drug addiction, or those who are pregnant cannot participate. Those who join can expect to visit the Clinical Research Center in Bialystok for their assessments. This trial is a significant step toward improving diabetes care and helping patients better manage their health.
