ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying two different tools, called LigaSure and SB-Knife, that doctors use to treat a condition known as Zenker's diverticulum. This condition can cause swallowing difficulties because of a pouch that forms in the throat. The trial aims to find out which tool works better by looking at how successful the treatment is, how long it takes, and if there are any complications. The goal is to gather reliable information that can help doctors in everyday practice.

To be part of this study, participants should be between 40 and 76 years old and have been diagnosed with Zenker's diverticulum, showing symptoms related to it. They will need to fill out some questionnaires about their symptoms and quality of life, and they must agree to participate by signing a consent form. However, individuals who have already been treated for this condition or have certain other health issues may not be eligible. If you decide to join, you can expect to undergo a minimally invasive procedure and help researchers understand how to improve treatment for this condition.
