ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different factors affect a person's ability to return to work after having knee surgery called knee arthroplasty, which is often done for severe knee problems like osteoarthritis. The researchers want to find out how many patients go back to work and how long it takes them to do so after their surgery. They will also look at what influences their ability to return to work and how their need for pain medication changes before and after the operation. Additionally, they plan to ask participants some questions about returning to sports after their recovery.
To be eligible for this trial, you need to be 63 years old or younger, have had the knee surgery (either total or partial), and have been working for at least two years before your surgery. If you meet these criteria and are interested, you can expect to answer questionnaires about your work and activity levels. The trial is currently looking for participants, and everyone, regardless of gender, can join. This study aims to help understand how to better support people in returning to their jobs after knee surgery.
