ClinConnect Summary
The Real-Life Chronic Rhinosinusitis Outcome Registry is a clinical trial designed to better understand chronic rhinosinusitis, a condition that causes long-lasting nasal and sinus symptoms. This research is led by a team of medical experts and aims to collect real-life data from patients using a mobile app. This data will help improve treatment and outcomes for people living with this condition. The study is currently recruiting participants aged 65 and older who have been diagnosed with chronic rhinosinusitis and are comfortable using a smartphone app.
To participate, individuals must have a physician's diagnosis of chronic rhinosinusitis and be able to use a mobile app. However, if someone has certain types of nasal tumors or only affects one side of their nose, they won't be eligible for the study. Participants can expect to share their experiences through the app, which will help doctors and researchers gain insights into the effectiveness of treatments in everyday life. Overall, this trial aims to enhance the understanding and management of chronic rhinosinusitis for better patient care.
