ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a treatment called Photobiomodulation Therapy (PBMT) to help manage lymphedema in women who have been treated for breast cancer. Lymphedema is a condition that can cause swelling, pain, and tightness in the arm after breast cancer treatment. PBMT uses special lights to improve healing and reduce pain and swelling. The goal of this study is to see how effective this light therapy is for women dealing with breast cancer-related lymphedema.

To participate in this trial, women must be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with breast cancer. They should have had surgery for breast cancer and have developed lymphedema that meets certain criteria. Participants will receive PBMT and will be monitored to see how it helps with their symptoms. This study is currently recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know is interested, it’s a good idea to talk to a healthcare provider for more information.
