ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on creating new models to better understand and treat chronic liver diseases and liver tumors. Researchers are working on ways to grow liver cells in the lab and test new treatments using these models, which could help improve care for conditions like liver cancer, fatty liver disease, and viral hepatitis. The goal is to find effective therapies that can help patients with these serious health issues.
To participate in the trial, you need to be diagnosed with a chronic liver disease and have at least one liver nodule that requires a biopsy. You should also be able to understand the study information and give your consent to participate. The trial is open to all adults aged 65 and older who are covered by the French social security system. If you join, you can expect to contribute to important research that may lead to better treatments for liver diseases in the future. However, if you're a minor, under legal protection, pregnant, or unable to give consent, you won’t be eligible to participate.
