ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to provide anesthesia for patients undergoing surgery to correct spinal deformities like scoliosis. The study aims to see if a specific type of nerve block, called a bilateral bi-level erector spine plane block, can help reduce pain during and after the surgery. The goal is to improve the overall management of pain, which can help prevent long-term issues and make the recovery process smoother.
To participate in this trial, patients must have a spinal deformity that needs surgical correction, be able to give their consent or have a legal representative do so, and not have any known allergies to local anesthetics. The trial is open to all genders and is currently recruiting participants. If eligible, patients can expect to receive careful monitoring and support throughout their surgery and recovery, which aims to enhance their comfort and safety.
