ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a condition called Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Type I (CRPS), which is a painful condition that often affects a limb, like a hand or foot, after an injury. The researchers want to understand how CRPS changes over time and how factors like stress and mental health affect patients' recovery, daily life, and ability to work. They are also looking at blood samples from participants to see if there are any special markers that could help diagnose CRPS in the future.
To participate in the study, you need to be at least 18 years old, have CRPS Type I affecting a limb, and have been experiencing pain for less than six months. You should also be able to understand French. If you don’t have chronic pain, you may be eligible to be in a control group for comparison. Participants will take part in follow-up visits and provide blood samples, which will help researchers learn more about this condition. This study is currently recruiting, so if you or someone you know might be interested, it could be a chance to contribute to important research on CRPS.
