ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) has been used to treat children in China over the past ten years. ECMO is a special treatment that helps support the heart and lungs when they are not working well. The goal of the study is to gather information about the experiences of children who have received this treatment, which can help improve care in the future.
To be part of this study, children must be between the ages of 1 day and 18 years old and have been treated with ECMO in mainland China during the past decade. There are no specific health issues that would exclude them from participating. If eligible, families can expect to provide information about their child’s treatment and outcomes, which will contribute to a better understanding of ECMO in pediatric patients. This study is currently in the recruiting phase, meaning they are looking for participants to join.
