ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating how problematic internet use, like excessive gaming or social media use, affects children and teenagers with substance use disorders. Researchers want to understand how these behaviors may be linked to mental health issues such as attention problems, anxiety, and mood disturbances. The study aims to gather more information on these relationships, as there is currently very little research on this topic.
To participate in the trial, young people aged 8 to 18 years old can sign up, as long as they, or their parents, agree to share their experiences in the study. Participants will be asked to complete questionnaires to help researchers learn more about their internet use and any related challenges they face. It’s important to note that individuals who have difficulty understanding the study's questions will not be able to participate. This research is currently looking for volunteers, so it's an excellent opportunity for families who want to contribute to understanding a growing issue in today's digital world.
