ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new approach to help women who suffer from recurrent cystitis, which is a painful bladder condition that can happen four or more times a year. The researchers are exploring a treatment called phyto-aromatherapy, which uses natural plant-based remedies to both treat symptoms when they arise and to prevent future episodes. The treatment consists of two phases: the first focuses on relieving symptoms during an attack using special essential oils, and the second aims to prevent future flare-ups with a mix of medicinal plants that help balance the body and reduce pain and anxiety.
To participate in this trial, women aged 18 and older who have recurrent cystitis and can commit to regular consultations with a phyto-aromatherapy pharmacist every few months can apply. Participants will receive personalized care and guidance throughout the study. However, pregnant or breastfeeding women, those with certain health conditions, or those taking specific medications won't be eligible. This trial is currently active, and it aims to show whether this natural treatment can effectively help women manage their recurrent cystitis.
