ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding the immune system in patients with chronic inflammatory conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, and Sjogren’s syndrome. The researchers aim to explore how these diseases affect the body and to identify potential new treatments. By studying blood samples from patients, they hope to learn more about the specific immune cells involved in these conditions.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be at least 18 years old and diagnosed with one of the chronic inflammatory diseases mentioned. They should not be on high doses of corticosteroids (a type of medication) and should weigh more than 35 kg (about 77 lbs). The trial is not currently recruiting participants, but once it begins, eligible individuals will have the opportunity to contribute to important research that could lead to better treatments for these complex diseases.
