ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating whether using a special traction device can help make a specific procedure called endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) faster and more effective for removing growths called adenomas in the colon or rectum. Patients who are eligible for this study should have a lesion in these areas that can be safely removed using the ESD technique. The trial is open to adults aged between 65 and 74 years, and it welcomes participants of all genders.
Participants in the trial will be randomly assigned to one of two groups: one group will use the traction device during their procedure, while the other group will receive the standard care without this device. If you join the study, you can expect to have your procedure monitored closely to see how the use of the traction device affects the time it takes to complete the ESD. It's important to note that individuals with conditions like dementia or those who cannot understand the study information will not be eligible to participate.
