ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is comparing two types of knee replacement surgeries—one using a "medial pivot" design and the other using a conventional design. The goal is to see if the medial pivot design leads to better movement, function, and longer-lasting results for patients with knee osteoarthritis. In simple terms, the researchers want to find out if this newer design can help people feel better and enjoy more activities after their surgery.
To participate in this study, you need to be 50 years or older and have primary osteoarthritis of the knee. Unfortunately, those with certain conditions, like severe knee misalignment or prior surgeries on the same knee, cannot take part. If you join the trial, you'll be monitored to see how well the new knee design works for you compared to the traditional option. Your involvement could help improve knee replacement surgeries for others in the future!
