ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying patients who have previously undergone coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and are experiencing chest pain or discomfort again, known as recurrent angina. The focus is on understanding how well their saphenous vein grafts (which are used in the surgery) are working and if their heart disease is getting worse. This research is important because it can help doctors determine the best ways to manage and treat patients with similar heart conditions in the future.
To participate in this study, patients should be between the ages of 65 and 90, have had CABG surgery, and be experiencing recurrent angina symptoms. Participants will be followed for several years, with information gathered from health records and phone assessments at 3 and 5 years after joining the study. This trial is currently recruiting, and it aims to gather a better understanding of heart health after bypass surgery, which could lead to improved care for patients.
