ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how expressive writing can help manage stress for people who have survived cancer. Many cancer survivors face increased stress due to worries about family, jobs, finances, and health, especially in tough times like the COVID-19 pandemic. By encouraging survivors to write about their feelings and experiences, the trial aims to see if this practice can help them cope better with their stress and find meaning in what they’ve gone through.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with cancer within the last three years. You should also be able to read and write in English and have access to a computer or smartphone with the internet. All types of cancer and stages of the disease are welcome. If you join, you can expect to engage in writing activities that allow you to express your thoughts and feelings. This is a great opportunity to share your experiences and contribute to research that could help improve the well-being of other cancer survivors.
