ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new treatment that combines music with gentle vibrations to help improve hand function in patients who have suffered from hand injuries. Researchers believe that this approach may help the brain adapt and improve the way patients use their hands after injuries. The main goal is to see how this "Musical Biofeedback" treatment can enhance movement and control in patients with specific types of injuries, such as tendon or bone injuries in the hand, wrist, or forearm, as well as nerve injuries.
To participate in this trial, candidates should have had a hand injury that affects their ability to feel or move their hand, but they should not have significant problems with thinking or understanding, nor should they be experiencing severe pain or swelling. If eligible, participants can expect to engage in sessions using this innovative treatment and help researchers learn more about its effects on improving hand function. This study is currently looking for participants of all genders aged 7 and older. Your involvement could contribute to developing better rehabilitation methods for those with similar injuries.
