ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a tool called the Hypotension Prediction Index, which aims to help doctors better predict and manage low blood pressure (hypotension) during and after surgery. The goal is to see if this tool can improve the way we assess the risk of complications after surgery, especially for patients who may need to stay in the hospital for more than 24 hours.
To be eligible for this trial, patients need to be at least 18 years old, scheduled for elective surgery, and will have a specific type of monitoring for their blood pressure during their hospital stay. It's important that patients can understand the study and give their consent to participate. If you or a loved one meet these criteria, you might have the opportunity to be part of this research, which could lead to better care for future surgical patients.
