ClinConnect Summary
The PLUSS trial is a project aimed at helping preschool children who may be experiencing developmental delays or behavioral problems. It brings together parents, healthcare providers, preschools, and social services to create a coordinated approach for screening, evaluating, and treating these issues. The study focuses on how well this new method works, including providing support and training for parents and preschool teachers. The ultimate goal is to improve the mental health of children and families, making everyday life easier and more enjoyable for everyone involved.
To be part of the study, children aged 18 months to 6 years who show signs of developmental delays or difficulties with communication, behavior, or everyday activities may be eligible. Parents can expect to receive support and education throughout the process. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it’s important to note that children without the specific challenges mentioned will not qualify. This project hopes to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families by addressing these important issues early on.
