ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new imaging technique called 68Ga-FAPI PET/CT, which may help doctors better diagnose and understand fibrotic diseases. Fibrotic diseases involve the thickening and scarring of tissues in the body, which can affect how well organs function. The goal of this trial is to see if this imaging method can provide valuable information for patients who have suspected or newly diagnosed fibrotic diseases.

To participate in the trial, individuals need to be adults (18 years or older) who have been diagnosed or are suspected of having a fibrotic disease, supported by previous medical tests like MRIs or CT scans. Participants should also be scheduled for a 68Ga-FAPI-04 PET/CT scan and be able to give informed consent, meaning they understand the trial and agree to participate. Pregnant individuals and those unable or unwilling to provide consent are not eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to undergo the PET/CT scan, which is a painless procedure that helps create detailed images of your body's tissues. This research could lead to improved ways to diagnose and treat fibrotic diseases in the future.
