ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying fibromyalgia, a common condition that causes widespread muscle pain, fatigue, and often feelings of anxiety or depression. Researchers are particularly interested in a substance called LPC16:0, which may play a role in the pain and stress experienced by people with fibromyalgia. The study aims to better understand how this substance affects pain and could eventually lead to new ways to diagnose or treat the condition. Participants will fill out questionnaires about their symptoms and may undergo tests to explore the biological aspects of fibromyalgia.
To join the study, participants must have a clinical diagnosis of fibromyalgia. Unfortunately, those with certain other health issues, like autoimmune disorders or serious chronic conditions, won’t be eligible. If you decide to participate, you can expect to share information about your experiences with fibromyalgia and contribute to important research that could help improve treatment options for this challenging condition.
