ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on developing a new way to measure pain and treatment effects in children and teens with conditions like Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, and Fibromyalgia. The goal is to create a more accurate method to assess pain, which could help doctors provide better and more personalized treatments, avoiding the usual trial-and-error process. The study will observe patients over one year, collecting data at regular doctor visits without changing their current treatments.
To participate in this study, individuals must be at least 5 years old and have a documented diagnosis of one of the targeted conditions. Unfortunately, those with certain eye diseases that could affect the study's measurements won't be able to join. Throughout the year, participants will have their pain responses recorded, helping researchers understand how effective standard treatments are for each condition. This is an important step towards improving care for young patients facing these challenging health issues.
