ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking into a new way to teach people with diabetes about taking care of their feet using virtual simulations. The main goal is to see if this type of education is practical and acceptable for patients in Ethiopia. Researchers want to find out if this virtual training helps improve patients' knowledge and behaviors related to foot care, which is very important for those managing diabetes.
To join this study, you need to be an adult (18 years or older) with type II diabetes and receiving care at the University of Gondar hospital. Unfortunately, those with type 1 diabetes, severe cognitive or visual impairments, or who have recently completed a diabetes education program are not eligible. If you participate, you can expect to engage with an interactive learning experience that aims to boost your understanding of diabetes foot care and improve how you take care of your feet. This could be an exciting opportunity to learn in a modern and engaging way while helping researchers understand the effectiveness of this method.
