ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, called "Membrane Target Detection for Leukemia Treatment," is studying a type of blood cancer known as acute myeloid leukemia (AML). AML is a serious condition that leads to many deaths each year, and researchers are looking for better ways to treat it. The goal of this trial is to understand how a specific treatment, known as DPP-4 inhibitors, affects AML and other blood cancers. By collecting samples from patients' blood and bone marrow, the researchers hope to learn more about how these treatments can be tailored to individual needs, ultimately improving patient outcomes.

To participate in this trial, you must be an adult (at least 18 years old) diagnosed with a hematological malignancy, which includes various types of blood cancers. Unfortunately, individuals who cannot make decisions for themselves, pregnant women, children, non-English speakers, and prisoners are not eligible to join. If you decide to participate, you can expect to provide blood and bone marrow samples, which will help researchers deepen their understanding of leukemia and potentially lead to new, personalized treatments for this challenging disease.
