ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is focused on studying central nervous system (CNS) tumors to better understand their characteristics and improve treatment options. Researchers will collect tissue samples during surgeries and from patients who have passed away. These samples will help create models that can be used to test how different drugs affect the tumors. Ultimately, the goal is to discover new ways to treat these tumors more effectively.

To participate in this study, individuals undergoing neurosurgery for a suspected CNS tumor, along with their parents, may be eligible. This includes patients of all ages, even newborns and pregnant individuals. There is also a group for patients without CNS tumors between the ages of 4 weeks and 21 years. Participants can expect to donate extra tissue that is not needed for their medical diagnosis, and their contributions will play an important role in advancing research to improve therapies for CNS tumors.
