ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well two tests, called AlloSure and AlloMap, can help doctors monitor kidney and pancreas transplant recipients for signs of organ injury or rejection. The goal is to see if these tests can detect problems early and accurately, especially in patients who are stable after their transplant but may still face issues like acute rejection or viral infections. By using simple blood tests, researchers hope to improve how we understand and manage transplant health.
To join the study, participants must be at least 18 years old and have received a simultaneous kidney and pancreas transplant between one month and three years ago. They should be able to give their consent to participate. However, those who have had a previous organ transplant or are pregnant are not eligible. Participants will undergo blood tests and monitoring to help researchers gather important information about their health and the effectiveness of these new testing methods. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to enhance care for transplant patients in the future.
