ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two surgical methods, called the Brassiere Brow Suture and Internal Browpexy, to help improve a common issue known as brow ptosis, which is when the eyebrows droop and can affect how the eyelids look and function. The trial is currently looking for participants aged 65 to 74 who have brow ptosis along with excess skin on the eyelids (a condition called dermatochalasis). However, people with other eyelid diseases or those who have had previous eyelid surgery are not eligible to join.
Participants in this trial can expect to undergo one of the two surgical procedures to lift their brows and improve their eyelid appearance. The study is aimed at gathering information on the effectiveness and safety of these surgical techniques. If you or a loved one is experiencing droopy eyebrows and related eyelid issues, this trial may be a good opportunity to explore potential treatment options.
