ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how certain dietary changes can help reduce the negative health effects of working at night. Researchers want to see if a specific diet can make night shift workers feel better and stay healthier. Healthy participants between the ages of 18 and 45, with a body mass index (BMI) between 20 and 29.9, are invited to join the study. It’s important that participants do not have serious health issues or a history of smoking, drug or alcohol dependency, or psychiatric disorders.

If you decide to participate, you will spend time in the hospital on two separate occasions, where you will receive the same meals each day. During your stay, researchers will take blood samples and ask for urine, saliva, stool, and rectal swab samples to study how your body responds to the diet. This is a chance to help understand how diet can affect health for those who work at night, and your participation could lead to important findings that benefit others.
