ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on helping Latino cancer patients and their family caregivers through mindfulness-based interventions. These programs aim to improve mental well-being by helping participants become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and body sensations. The goal is to reduce stress and anxiety related to cancer, whether it's the patient’s own diagnosis or that of a family member.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be between 65 and 74 years old, diagnosed with a stage III or IV solid tumor, and currently receiving treatment. They must identify as Hispanic or Latino and be willing to participate alongside a family caregiver, like a spouse or adult child, who also agrees to join. Participants will learn mindfulness techniques and may find them beneficial in coping with the challenges of cancer. If you're interested and think you might qualify, this could be a valuable opportunity for support and healing.
