ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new way to use MRI (a type of imaging test) to better see the condition of the hip in patients who have had a hip replacement surgery. The researchers want to find out if using a special technique called radiofrequency pulse polarization optimization can help reduce the interference caused by the metal in hip implants during the MRI. This trial is being conducted at a single center and is currently looking for participants.

To be eligible for this study, patients should be at least 18 years old and have a history of hip replacement surgery that is causing them pain. They must not have any metal hardware in their bodies (like another hip replacement) and should not have any conditions that would prevent them from safely undergoing an MRI, such as severe claustrophobia. Participants will need to sign a consent form and will receive an MRI scan using both standard and modified techniques to see which one provides clearer images. This trial aims to improve the quality of MRI results for better diagnosis and treatment planning for patients with hip issues.
