ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how artificial intelligence (AI) can help interpret ultrasound images more accurately. Over the course of one year, the project will focus on developing two different AI systems: one for analyzing moving images of the heart (to detect conditions like fluid around the heart) and another for looking at still images of the kidneys (to identify swelling). The goal is to see if these AI systems can effectively recognize these conditions and improve the way ultrasound images are read by healthcare providers.
To take part in this trial, you must be someone who is scheduled to receive either an echocardiogram (an ultrasound of the heart) or a renal ultrasound (an ultrasound of the kidneys). Unfortunately, if you are not having one of these tests, you won't be eligible to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to help researchers understand how well AI can work in this area, which could lead to better and faster diagnoses in the future. Your participation is important in helping to improve medical technology!
